How Do You Cure Knee Slide From A Golf Swing?
I have a knee slide which was “added” many years ago as part of trying to develop a follow through.
I now play of 8 and its killing my swing from being able to hit down on the ball.
Any ideas?

do u have a lateral knee movement on ur downsing or backwing? if on the backswing try standing ur right heel (do this on the outside of your foot to act like a wedge) on a golf ball this will give you some resistance (this is a drill for a right handed golfer) . if its on the downswing then try practcing with a ball in between your kees – this will maintain the gap between your knees and give you the feeling of what its like not to have any excessive knee movement. any more questions email me watsongolfer@yahoo.co.uk. im a PGA pro.
try pointing your toes outward a LITTLE bit just to get your weight settled down the middle – you could also try closing your stance just a hair which will put more focus on your turn
have a friend stand next to you.. and when you slide you knee.. have him hit the hell out you…
you will soon stop
